BJVIM recently dedicated an exam room at the Bluffton Clinic in honor of its founder, Jennifer Brown. Originally a volunteer with HHI VIM, she saw the need to have a clinic in Bluffton. Brown began the process and was with the organization when it opened in 2011. She was a part of the clinic until 2013 when she left to live in Australia. She remained interested in the clinic until her death on July 6, 2022.
